Mark 10:46-52

Jesus visited Jericho
And as he was beginning to go
With his disciples and a great crowd
He heard a voice that cried out loud

It was Bartimaeus the son of Tim
This man had something wrong with him
He was blind – he could not see
He sat by the road to beg for his tea

When he heard it was Jesus of Nazareth
He decided to speak and took a deep breath
He cried out loud – He wanted to see
“Jesus son of David have mercy on me”

Many people started rebuking him
And said “be quiet” to poor Bartim
But he shouted all the more – He needed to see
“Son of David have mercy on me”

And Jesus stopped and said “Call Him”
So they called the blind man and said to Bartim
“Take heart, get up, he’s calling you”
“Take heart, get up, he’s calling you”

He threw off his cloak and sprang to his feet
And came to Jesus this man to meet
And Jesus said to him “What do you,
My friend, want me to do for you?”

The blind man asked expectantly
“Rabbi I really want to see”
Jesus said to him “Go your way
Your faith has made you well today”

Immediately he received his sight
And followed him on the way. ALRIGHT!
